Membership gives you access to a network of women and other gender minorities in your field and lets you subscribe to our newsletter* (comes out ~4 times a year). You will be invited to all our events including our annual meeting.
Membership is open to everyone with a relation to physics including those with a background in engineering, chemistry, nano technology etc. Members aim to promote the participation of minority groups in physics and to be part of the community. Everyone can participate in our activities, but only members can participate in the general assembly and have voting rights.
KIF is a section of DFS (Dansk Fysisk Selskab) and we encourage our members to become members of DFS as well. While membership of KIF is free of charge, KIF exists as a section of DFS, and therefore supporting DFS through membership payments helps to ensure the continued activities of KIF. Read more about DFS membership here.
We collect information such as occupation and postal code to be able to target our activities to the interests and physical location of our members. You may leave these fields blank if you wish.
